ATTOCK, March 26: Three men, who introduced themselves as medical technicians, deprived a female patient of cash and gold ornaments at the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital, officials said on Wednesday.

The woman, a resident of Meharpura Mohallah, reported to the Attock City police that she went to the DHQ hospital Attock on Tuesday for medical check-up.

She was waiting at the outdoor patient department (OPD) for her turn, when three persons came to her and said that the doctor had advised her ECG and ultrasound tests, therefore, she should hand over her jewellery and handbag before proceeding for the tests.

The patient handed over all her jewellery, including 12 gold bangles, and handbag carrying some Rs3,000 to them.
