PESHAWAR, March 29: The director Building Control Agency, City Development and Municipal Department (CDMD), on Saturday forwarded cases against the illegal private housing societies to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to the Director Arif Khan the launching of the private housing societies without fulfilling the requirements was totally illegal and a violation of the rules.

Mr Arif asked all concerned to avoid depositing money for getting plots with people who have not yet got the approval from CDMD, adding that as per Chapter-II Section 9(6) no scheme shall be advertised or published in media.

He said that the advertisements of such schemes in the print and electronic media were totally illegal and the same could only be advertised through the CDMD.

Mr Arif also asked the public and the print and electronic media to discourage such people.—Bureau Report
