FAISALABAD, April 17: Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company chief executive officer Ahmed Saeed on Thursday suspended the Sargodha training centre head and five other employees on charges of negligence and using the company’s platform for their business.
Fesco spokesman Tahir Sheikh said two private people -- Rasheed Akbar and Abdul Waheed -- started a business with the help of training centre head Ali Asghar to send people abroad. The fesco administration came to know through an advertisement in a newspaper that they had been using the company’s name for the their business.
Following this, Mr Sheikh said, the CEO suspended Ali Asghar, assistant in-charge Shehbaz Mehmood, Muhammad Naeem, Nisar Ahmed, Jaffar Shah and Tariq for negligence and intentionally remaining tight-lipped over the issue.
He said an application had also been filed with the police for registration of a case against Rasheed Akbar and Abdul Waheed. — Staff Correspondent
