Girl killed by robbers

VEHARI, May 2: A 10-year-old girl was killed while her uncle sustained bullet wounds after they caught in firing by robbers on a motorcyclist who tried to resist at Chak 40/KB on Friday night.

Reports said that five armed robbers intercepted motorcyclist Iqbal when he was going to his home. On offering resistance, the bandits opened fire which hit passerby girl Shama and her uncle while Iqbal remained unhurt. The injured girl died while being taken to hospital while her uncle Ramzan was being treated there.

Sahooka police are investigating the matter. — Correspondent
