Shot dead

SIALKOT, May 30: Six dacoits shot a farmer dead in a Pasrur tehsil village early Friday.

Reportedly, the dacoits stormed into the house of Shahbaz Ahmad In Jamkey (Qila Kalarwala) village and opened fire when the householder put up resistance. Hit by a bullet on the head, Ahmad died on the spot while the dacoits took away gold ornaments, cash and electronics worth of Rs200, 000. — Correspondent
