NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 7: A man killed his teenaged daughter when she got late in serving him breakfast in Mehrabpur town on Saturday.

Uncle of the deceased girl, Sajid Ali, lodged an FIR under section 302 PPC against his brother Mohammad Yasin Arain accusing him of killing his daughter Abida, 15, when she served breakfast late. No arrest was made till the filing of this report.

ELECTROCUTED: One Rajab Ali was electrocuted while he was repairing a fan in Deewan Jo Kario village near Moro on Saturday.

PROTEST: Dozens of people blocked the National Highway near Noorpur by staging a sit-in for about half an hour in protest against police refusal to lodge FIR.

The protesters complained that police were not registering their FIR after three people barged into the house of one Ali Nawaz and robbed the inmates of valuables on Saturday.

The protesters dispersed after the Naushahro Feroze SPO Hubdar Ali Shah assured them of lodging FIR and recovering looted articles and arrest of the accused within two days.
