KARACHI: Junk dealer shot dead

KARACHI, June 21: A 38-year-old man was shot dead and his nephew injured in Marvi Goth near Quaidabad.

The dead and the injured were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where they were identified as Shamim Khan, son of Taj Wali, and Qismat Khan, son of Rehmat Khan, respectively.

ASI Raza Mohammed of the Shah Latif Town police said that the victim, Shamim, was a resident of Sherpao Colony and he had a junkshop near Jalindhar ground.

He and his cousin, Rehmat Khan, were at their shop when three bandits on a motorbike shot them on resistance.
