SHIKARPUR, June 28: The SHO of Karan police station, Barkat Ali Channa, was gunned down by some armed tribesmen when he along with other policemen, was going to hand over body of Aiwaz Jatoi to his village, Bilawal Wahi, on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that on the same day in the morning, a group of some 26 armed Jatoi tribesmen attacked the house of Aiwaz Jatoi and gunned him down with automatic weapons.
The assailants after killing Jatoi took away his eight buffaloes.
