KHAIRPUR: Girl killed

KHAIRPUR, Aug 7: A teenaged girl was killed when unknown attackers opened fire on her home in Goghri Mangnejo village near Pir-jo-Goth late on Wednesday night.

Reports said that Asiya, 17, died on the spot after getting hit by firing. The motive behind the attack could not be ascertained.

The body was brought to Pir-jo-Goth rural health centre but it had to be moved to Khairpur Civil Hospital due to unavailability of lady doctor.—BoC
