ISLAMABAD, Dec 5: A missile strike by a suspected US drone killed at least three people on Friday in a Pakistani tribal area, a security official said.
“A missile fired by a suspected US drone killed three people outside the town of Mir Ali in Miramshah district,” he said.
Local people confirmed the strike and said it targeted the house of a suspected Taliban militant. Two people were injured in the attack.
Taliban militants immediately surrounded the house and did not allow anyone to come near the site, witnesses said.—AFP
