Agencies add “The three people killed in the attack were militants but their identity is not yet confirmed,” an intelligence official told AFP.

A security official and another intelligence official in Peshawar confirmed the strike, saying the missiles were fired from an unmanned US aircraft.

The US military, as a rule, does not confirm drone attacks which have killed a number of top-level militants.
