Three killed in drone strike

MIRAMSHAH, June 26 Three people were killed and two others injured on Saturday morning when missiles fired from a suspected US drone hit a compound in Khushali Toorikhel area of North Waziristan.

Sources said that the unmanned aircraft fired two missiles at the compound at around 10am, killing three people and wounding two others. The identity of the owner of the compound and the people hit could not be ascertained.

AFP adds An official said those killed and injured in the drone strike were militants. —Correspondent
