Eight killed in drone attack

MIRAMSHAH, Oct 24 Eight people were killed and two others injured when two missiles fired by a drone hit the Markaz of Afghan com mander Ahmad Haqqani, son of Jalaluddin Haqqani, in Dandi Derpakhel area of North Waziristan on Thursday night.

The area is a stronghold of the Taliban and Jalaluddin Haqqani is believed to be living here.Jalaluddin Haqqani, it may be mentioned, was a minister in the Taliban government of Afghanistan. —Correspondent
