KARACHI, Nov 6: Sindh Health Adviser Faisal Malik has said that Kashmiri refugees, living in Sindh, should not consider themselves aloof. They were being provided all basic health and other facilities in Sindh , he said while talking to Sardar Mohammad Yakub Khan, the health and population welfare minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir on Saturday.

Faisal Malik said that all the provinces should benefit from each other's departmental experiences for which there was need to further strengthen inter-provincial liaison.

Sardar Yakub Khan praised the government efforts in getting the Kashmiris their rights. He acknowledged that the Kashmiris living in Sindh were being provided all basic facilities, particularly in the health sector, as the present government believed in the service to poor people without distinction of cast, colour and creed and political affiliations.

He exchanged views with Faisal Malik on benefiting from departmental experiences and the steps for providing increasingly better facilities to people in the health sector.

The health adviser informed him that steps were being taken for making the closed health centres functional in the interior of Sindh and providing additional incentives to medical staff instructed with duties in far off places.

He pointed out that the Sindh government was continuing with posting of staff at their places of domicile.

Faisal Malik disclosed that the Sindh government had been considering to introduce the scheme of "Rapid Rescue" so that people living in remote areas could be provided immediate medical assistance.-APP
